#LUMUSIC

During physical activity the music is able to give us excellent sensations, it often increases concentration, other times it relaxes us or motivates us, it can make us feel alive, almost invincible.

But what are the real effects of music on athletic performance described in scientific literature? The first studies on the subject date back to the late 1990s, they continued to evolve in the 2000s and the interest increased particularly after the 2007 New York marathon.

Already in 1997 Karageorghis & Terry (two well-known psychologists for the scientific study of the relationship between music and sport) emphasized that in some moments of the competition music has the ability to arouse a small but significant effect on performance, besides being the ideal companion for training. The scientific research developed subsequently identified 5 key points in which music can influence performance (both in preparation and in competition):

1-dissociation,

2-synchronization,

3-excitation control,

4-acquisition of motor skills,

5- achievement of the competitive trance.

AND IT IS JUST FOR THESE SOLID SCIENTIFIC BASES THAT MUSIC IN EVERY MY SESSION OF TRAINING IS THE FRUIT OF A METICULOUS STUDY AND RESEARCH TO OBTAIN THE TOP OF PERFORMANCE, BUT OBVIOUSLY ALSO TO MAKE BENEFIT FROM OUR MIND!
